Lola and Hedgy

What happens when a hedgehog meets a pug puppy...a standoff! After Lola finished her photoshoot we went inside to capture Hedgy. However, this became difficult once Lola realised she was not the center of attention any longer. Although we successfully finished both sessions, I was definitely looking forward to a tall glass of juice to quench my thirst. Both of them were entertaining and a blast to work with.

We will miss you Heidi, rest in peace!

Last Saturday, June 26th 2010, my family and I made the hardest decision that we ever made as a unit. The decision was to have our family pet, Heidi, euthanized. The day of her passing came today, July 2nd 2010 at 11:45am. In the coming days and weeks I will elaborate on her truly heroic life. But for now, I have decided to post an image of us and say thank you Heidi for over 17 years of love and kindness. The image was taken yesterday at my parents house. There is Heidi, me, momma, poppa and Freddy (our 14 year old cockatiel).
